Virtual members' get-together: Report from Bièvres - 13 June 2026, 5:00 pm

After the successful start in March, we are pleased to announce the next virtual members' meeting.

Klaus Herrmann and Walter Jekat report on their first encounter with the Foire Internationale de la Photo in Bièvres: the world's largest photo fair, which takes place south of Paris every year at the beginning of June. Since 1964, Bièvres has been a must-attend event for collectors from all over the world: around 300 exhibitors on an area of almost two hectares, cameras, lenses, photographica and printed works in a density and variety that is hard to find elsewhere, plus around 15,000 visitors from all over Europe and across all continents. For Klaus and Walter, this is their first participation. Such first-impression experiences make for particularly lively reports. To get you in the mood, we will be showing pictures and video impressions of the fair.

The Stammtisch takes place exactly one week after this year's edition - so the impressions are still fresh.

Anyone who has already been to Bièvres is cordially invited to take part in the regulars' table and contribute their own experiences, insider tips or finds to the discussion. Anyone who has never been there and has questions or is wondering whether the trip is worthwhile is also in the right place. This is exactly the kind of lively exchange we are hoping for.

As a foretaste, here are some impressions from the organiser...
