Already discovered? Our "Sammelsurium"
Perhaps you haven't come across it yet while browsing our website: the "Sammelsurium". (A hard to translate German word meaning a collection of odds and ends). It's the place for all those things that are too interesting to go unnoticed, but can't easily be categorised under a fixed heading.
A little musical suggestion to read along with:
Perhaps you'd like to accompany the article with a suitable soundscape. The song "Camera, Camera" by the British band Renaissance dates from 1981 - somewhere between prog rock, new wave and a touch of melancholy. A little enigmatic, a little out of time - and therefore surprisingly fitting to the mood of our smorgasbord. Just let it play and read on.
Here you will find small discoveries and larger finds, historical insights as well as curiosities on the fringes of photographic history. Employee magazines, factory photographs, old catalogues, films, statistics or even the unexpected - anything that surprises us, makes us think or simply gives us pleasure can find its place here.

The "Sammelsurium" is expressly intended as a supplement to our other sections. Technical information and practical tips will remain in the "Collector's knowledge compact" section. The Collector's Purse is all about browsing, discovering and rediscovering.
And, of course, this section thrives on participation. Perhaps you also have a document, a photo, a film or a short story that might interest others. If you have something that you would like to have discovered yourself, then we would be delighted if you would share it with us.
Take a look - and let us surprise you.
