NEW: Photo Antiquaria now also available to listen to
AI-generated podcast episodes turn technical articles into entertaining dialogues - an experiment with Google's NotebookLM.
With the help of Google's new NotebookLM technology, we have transferred the articles in this issue into a completely different medium - namely two podcast episodes.
The amazing thing about this is that the presenters are not real, but entirely generated by artificial intelligence. And yet the conversations seem amazingly lively. In a relaxed, chatty atmosphere, they discuss selected topics from the programme, ask questions, pick up on thoughts and lead the listener right into the middle of the action.
The result is a listening experience that you would hardly have thought possible: specialist articles that would normally appear in print in the magazine are transformed into an entertaining dialogue - almost as if you were sitting at a table with two knowledgeable friends talking enthusiastically about photographic history.
