First photo exchange in northern Hesse and southern Lower Saxony

The Kassel photo group invites you to the first photo exchange for photography enthusiasts in northern Hesse and southern Lower Saxony.

On 7 February 2026 , the Kassel photo group is organising a photo exchange (photo flea market) for the first time, thus creating a platform for the purchase and sale of photographic equipment, expert discussions, exchange of experiences and the conscious revival of a regional tradition for photographers, collectors and those interested in photography in the region after around 30 years.

The photo exchange is aimed at collectors and lovers of analogue photographic technology as well as active photographers and beginners.

The main focus is on personal contact. In addition, there will be an "expert stand" dealing with all aspects of analogue photography, where some items from a member's camera collection will also be presented, such as a Stirn's Westen camera, a rare Rollei SL350 and other rarities from German and Japanese camera manufacturers.
