Digital library - status at the end of the year
At the end of the year, a further step in the Club Daguerre digital library was completed:
The content indexing of Photo Antiquaria is now complete for all issues up to and including 2024. This means that the entire historical collection of issues is now available in a structured and fully searchable form.
The addition of the four issues from 2025 is planned and is expected to take place in January 2026. Final processing will take place once the final issue versions are available.
The Digital Library is used for systematic research within the entire Photo Antiquaria collection. It makes it possible to find articles, topics and technical terms in a targeted manner and to understand them in their respective context. It thus supplements the printed editions with an additional, subject-related access option.
The Executive Board would like to thank all those involved in this project, especially Harald Goergens, for their continuous and diligent work. The digital library is a collaborative endeavour and thrives on the commitment of its members.
