New login methods, a faster server and continuous improvements - the most important things about our internal platform.
A lot has been going on behind the scenes of our internal website in recent weeks. We have been overwhelmed by the positive response to the new Club Daguerre library - many of you are already enthusiastically using the digital archive of Photo Antiquaria and Club Daguerre aktuell.
You will find more information on using the digital library in the latest issue of Photo Antiquaria. There have also been some general changes to the internal website:
Convenient and secure registration - the choice is yours
We now offer two equivalent login options:
- Code method: 6-digit code by e-mail
- Magic Link: Simply click on the link in the e-mail
The special thing about both: Once you have registered, you can stay logged in for up to a year - no need to enter a password every time you visit!
Our system is more secure than conventional passwords, because only you have access to your e-mail. No passwords that can be forgotten or hacked. Simply choose the method you prefer - both are equally secure and convenient.
More stable technology, better performance
We have moved to a new, more powerful server. The pages now load noticeably faster, especially the high-resolution scans. Even with many simultaneous accesses, everything runs smoothly. With plenty of storage space and system reserves, we are equipped for the future - there is room for more years, new functions and more members.
Continuous improvement
We optimise details on an almost weekly basis: navigation has become clearer, the search function more precise and the display on tablets and smartphones improved. Many of these improvements are the direct result of your feedback - thank you very much!
